Making a Difference for Martin County Children

Our Mission

Our mission is to offer gently used clothing and support for literacy to underprivileged children in Martin County, Florida, completely free of charge. We focus on uplifting the children in our community, fostering and enhancing their self-image and confidence. In the 2023-24 period, we proudly served a record 5,359 children. With your assistance, we aim to sustain this vital support for our community and reach the countless children who are still in need.

Clothing Children

We gather and provide gently used clothing along with new shoes, socks, and underwear, free of charge, to children in need within Martin County. Donations are meticulously sorted and showcased in our store for convenient selection by families. Additionally, we deliver clothing to families using our traveling van that partners with local non-profit organizations, schools and neighborhoods in need.

Caring For Children

Caring for children extends beyond just supplying clothing. We also offer trained volunteer tutors who visit elementary school students reading below grade level, specifically in grades K through 5, at five Martin County Title One schools which are schools that receive federal funding to support the education of economically disadvantaged students. Each school year, we serve approximately 200 children. Students are chosen for reading assistance based on recommendations from their teachers.
